Summary
The purpose of this publication is to identify materials, equipment, and procedures to provide rapid restoration of mission critical facilities in wartime. The emphasis is on techniques for quick temporary repair actions or utilization of alternate utility sources (Stand-Alone Systems) for immediate restoration of services. Expedient repairs are to be performed primarily by the Naval Construction Force (NCF) personnel, although the technology is also within the capabilities of station public works organizations.
