Smithsonian Facilities
Smithsonian Facilities provides world-class stewardship of Smithsonian museums, gardens, and facilities through the efforts of a professional, motivated, and dedicated workforce to ensure an environment that enhances the Smithsonian experience for all.

Architectural History and Historic Preservation Division
The Architectural History and Historic Preservation Division (AHHP) was organized in 1986 to act as curator of the Smithsonian's diverse campus of buildings. In this role, AHHP strives to foster a superior understanding of the heritage of the Smithsonian buildings through preservation, research, and education. The many activities of this division can be separated into three primary areas of responsibility: (a) Architectural History (b) Historic Preservation, and (c) Collections Management.

Smithsonian Institution Accessibility Program
The Accessibility Program supports the Smithsonian by providing consistent, effortless access to the Institution's programs, collections, and facilities, thereby making all visitors feel welcome.

Office of Facilities Management & Reliability
The Office of Facility Management and Reliability (OFMR) includes eight Zones, Systems Engineering, Support Services, Buiness Operations, Safety, and Organizational Development in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

Energy Management Team
The Energy Management Team oversees a $28 million federal utility budget and is responsible for the purchase of all utilities (Electricity, Natural Gas, Steam, Fuel Oil, Water and Sewer, and Chilled Water) for Smithsonian facilities worldwide.
