UFM 3-601-02 Fire Protection Systems Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance

This UFM provides requirements for inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of active and passive fire protection and life safety features in DoD facilities. Do not deviate from these criteria without prior approval of the component office of responsibility. Compliance with criteria issued in accordance with this UFM does not constitute an exception to the public laws. Fire protection criteria must conform to the requirements of this UFM and the NFPA National Fire Codes, except as modified by this UFM and specifically referenced by this UFM.
