Heather Colbert is a Project Manager at NREL working from their Golden, Colorado campus. Heather has worked and consulted in energy and sustainability for over 20 years working with large public and private institutions, including large real estate investment trusts (REITs), state and federal government agencies, and university systems. Her background includes project and program management, policy development, regulatory and legislative affairs, financial administration, capital project development, and energy procurement. Today, Heather provides technical assistance to state and federal agencies developing their energy and sustainability programs, distributed energy resources, performance contracts, as well as related tools, resources, and training programs.
