With more than 33 years of energy industry experience, Mr. Nyenhuis has a broad perspective of how energy efficiency projects come together and create long-term client value. His experience in energy consulting and ESCO fields has given him a deep knowledge of how to successfully deliver energy master planning services, energy consulting, and comprehensive energy project development. His knowledge of K12, healthcare, federal government, higher education, and industrial markets has come from assessment of more than 230 million total sq-ft and development of energy projects totaling more than $2B in total project value. In his role as Director of Energy Consulting at Southland Industries, Mr. Nyenhuis is responsible for Southland’s M&V group and a talented team of engineers and energy professionals who help Southland’s clients secure incentives and tax benefits and successfully plan and realize projects that enhance facility resilience, performance and sustainability.
