Amanda Farthing is a research engineer in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She specializes in technoeconomic modeling of distributed energy resources (DERs). At NREL, she develops and utilizes REopt, a modeling platform for DERs, to support federal agencies, international organizations, communities, and others in achieving their energy, resilience, decarbonization, and nancial goals.
