Summary

This Unified Facilities Supplement (UFS) presents design criteria and standards for trackage for different types of wide gage portal cranes. Particular reference is made to rails, rail supports, turnouts, crossings, alignment, components, curves of all types, and design procedures. The criteria herein covers design of both new trackage and rehabilitation of existing trackage.
