Kathleen Krah is a research engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) focused on techno-economic modeling and analysis of distributed energy systems. She currently leads NREL’s REopt® team, developing open-source modeling tools and supporting research, technical assistance, and trainings for organizations seeking to evaluate the most costeffective combination of energy generation and storage technologies for their sites' energy goals (e.g., cost savings, resilience, decarbonization).
