Mr. Kam serves as Program Manager for Data Centers, Smart Labs (both collectively referred to as the Energy Intensive Facilities program), Federal Fleet, and the 50001 Ready program. He also supports the Energy and Water Treasure Hunt program. These programs promote efficient data center design and operation, optimize energy practices in high performance laboratories, aid federal fleet management in compliance with federal regulations, and provide recognition for ISO 50001-based energy management systems. Treasure Hunts engage employees in identifying O&M energy efficiency improvements. Mr. Kam served for 16 years as the Energy Program Manager for the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific. He provided utilities and shore energy program management leadership to Navy and Marine Corps shore activities in Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Singapore, and Diego Garcia. Mr. Kam was awarded the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Medal for his proactive leadership within the US Department of Defense. Mr. Kam also served for 16 years as the Energy Program Manager for the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific). He provided utilities and shore energy program management leadership to Navy and Marine Corps shore activities in Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Singapore and Diego Garcia.
