Ms. Brown serves as the lead financial representative for Ameresco on multifunctional teams responsible for originating and closing energy projects. She is responsible for securing financing and for the structuring, pricing, and financial analysis of each project. Ms. Brown coordinates with engineering, construction, supply management, accounting, and legal in the development of energy projects. Her key responsibilities include assisting sales leads with initial screening/qualification of potential customers, preparing standard or customized financial models for pricing, financial evaluation of proposed projects, and reviewing and negotiating contract documents. She is responsible for identifying project risks, securing the most competitive financing terms, and leading negotiations with third-party lenders. Ms. Brown documents customer savings and identifies applicable financial incentives, rebates, and tax credits for energy projects. She has BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA, Finance, from UNC Charlotte.
