DOE Office of Management

The Office of Management supports many leadership responsibilities for the Department of Energy (DOE), providing support for project and contract management and other administrative functions. The office is also responsible for the day-to-day management of the Department's Headquarters facilities and has been a leader in various energy reduction and recycling initiatives.

DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE)

The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's vision is a strong and prosperous America that is powered by clean, affordable, and secure energy. In the context of this vision, EERE’s mission is to create and sustain American leadership in the transition to a global clean energy economy. This mission requires that EERE perform its work at the intersection of national energy, economic, and environmental systems, as well as across industry and other stakeholder organizations.

DOE Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP)

The Federal Energy Management Program works with key individuals to accomplish energy change within organizations by bringing expertise from all levels of project and policy implementation to enable federal agencies to meet energy-related goals and provide energy leadership to the country. FEMP provides agencies and organizations with the information, tools, training, and assistance they need to meet and track their energy-related requirements and goals.
