Summary
The A/E/C CAD Standard has been developed by the CAD/BIM Technology Center for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment to eliminate redundant Computer-Aided Design (CAD) standardization efforts within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Federal Government. The manual is part of an initiative to develop a nonproprietary CAD standardthat incorporates existing industry, national, and international standards and to develop data standards that address the entire life cycle of facilities within the DoD.
