SpecsIntact is used to extract and edit facility project specifications from Master specifications made up of Divisions and Sections. The system provides Quality Assurance reports and automated features that reduce the staff hours required to complete project specifications. The Quality Assurance reports verify the accuracy of technical References, Submittal requirements, tests, and other requirements like Section references, and Bracketed Options.
The automated features will generate a Table of Contents for Projects and Sections, customize the Submittal and Reference Sections, renumber paragraphs, and remove Specifier Notes from the printed specifications.
Software performance is optimized for a vast array of functions associated with network Working Directories while establishing a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. The performance enhancements will be more prevalent after the initial load of an existing Job or Master, so SpecsIntact can update the associated system files. Significant areas of improvement are as follows:
To optimize performance in network Working Directories, the SI Explorer prioritizes performance by delaying the display of titles and other Job or Master data until you select the Job or hover your mouse over it. Although not recommended, you can disable this feature by unchecking the Optimize performance for network Working Directories option from the SI Explorer's Setup menu > Options > General tab.
SpecsIntact is committed to ensuring universal access to our software so everyone can have the best experience possible. Our software fully supports high-contrast themes, keyboard shortcuts, tooltips, and screen readers to improve functional capabilities.
Windows provides high-contrast themes to improve accessibility for users with vision limitations. These themes adjust color contrast levels to make text, window borders, and images stand out more. Users can even choose from various themes that will allow them to personalize their experience.
To temporarily turn high-contrast themes on or off from the keyboard press left Alt+left Shift+Print Screen. For a permanent solution within Microsoft Windows, you can turn high-contrast on from the sign-in screen by selecting the Ease of Access button.

SpecsIntact prioritizes accessibility by offering comprehensive keyboard navigation. This allows users who prefer or need to avoid using a mouse to navigate the application seamlessly using keyboard shortcuts, control, and navigation keys.
Keyboard shortcuts are used as an alternative way to quickly access menus and functions. These shortcuts are displayed directly within each application menu and offer quick access to frequently used functions.

Tooltips, also known as hints or screentips, are small informational boxes that appear on a screen when you hover your mouse over a specific element. These graphical user interface (GUI) elements are designed to provide users with quick and easy access to relevant information without the need to click away or open separate windows or documents.
