This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's File menu and Right-click menu.

This will allow you to change the name of the selected Job or Master.  The name identifies the Job or Master in both the SI Explorer, Windows File ExplorerThe Windows Explorer is Microsoft Windows file manager application that is included in the operating system. It provides a graphical interface and allows users to manage files, folders, and network connections, as well as search for files and related components or File ExplorerThe File Explorer, previously known as Windows Explorer Is Microsoft Windows 10 file manager application that is included in the operating system. It provides a graphical interface and allows users to manage files, folders, network connections and folder options, as well as search for files and related components.  The Job or Master name is also printed in the top right corner of each page.

How to Rename a Job or Master

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Job or Master you want to rename

  2. From the File menu, choose Rename, or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu on the Job or Master and choose Rename

  3. When the Rename window opens, place the cursor in the New job name field and enter the new name

  4. Only select RestoreA process used to bring back a backed-up Job, Master, or Supplemental Reference List from the specified location (Drive or other device) to the SpecsIntact system print settings to default values when required.
  5. Select OK
