On-Demand
Duration:
1 Hour
Level:
Introductory
Prerequisites:

The 120 Training Series introduces the concepts and fundamentals of the tools OBO uses
to identify requirements and evaluate design submittals. The Level of Development (LOD) and the Minimum Modeling and Data Requirements (MMDR) which are discussed in detail in the modules. This training series presents the fundamentals of these concepts that reviewers should know in order to better understand what AEs should be focusing on and providing during the design stage and what they should be looking for in their reviews.

Training Series:

  • 120.1 — Concepts of LOD and MMDR;
  • 120.2 — LOD Fundamentals;
  • 120.3 — Tour of the LOD Specification; and
  • 120.4 — OBO Minimum Modeling and Data Requirements (MMDR).

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this training, learners will be able to:

  • Describe general LOD concepts, framework, and logic at a practical level;
  • Efficiently find needed information in the LOD Specification (LOD Spec);
  • Use the LOD Spec to concisely interpret and apply the MMDR rules in evaluating model and drawing submittals; and
  • Understand the structure and content of the Data portion of the MMDR.
