SI Editor View Menu - Colors

This Command can be executed from the View menu or the keyboard shortcut  Alt+L.

 

Allows you to turn the Tag color-coding on or off.  The color-coding is used within the text to quickly identify some of the tagged elements within a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction.  The color-coding will also match the corresponding Toolbar buttons.

Tag Colors

ADD	Addition	Green
DEL	Deletion	Red
ENG	English	Dark Blue
MET	Metric	Dark Red
RID	Reference Identifier	Light Magenta
SRF	Section Reference	Violet
SUB	Submittal Key	Blue
TAI	TailoringTagged elements <TAI> </TAI> inserted by the Master Specification writer to indicate specific elements within a specification. These tags allow them to include or exclude requirements based on factors like agency or product. This pre-editing removes irrelevant requirements, simplifying customization for each project Option	Teal
