This command can also be executed from the SI Editor's Right-click menu or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T.

The Delete Added Revisions command removes the ADD tagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents and the green underlined text that was marked for addition.

Illustration Icon Indicating Caution To delete the green underlined text, ensure it is highlighted before using this command. Otherwise, all the added text in the SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction will be removed.

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteYou can use the Edit > Undo command to reverse the results of this function before the changes have been saved or the Execute Revisions command has been used.

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteThis function does not impact any text marked for deletion by strikethrough and positioned within DEL tags -- see Undelete Redlined Revisions for that function.  To revert the added and deleted text, use Remove All Revisions.

  1. In the SI Editor, highlight the Added text
  2. Right-click and select Delete Added Revisions
