USACE Sustainable Design Program  

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sustainable Design Program, develops policy, guidance and design criteria to meet Federal Mandates related to Energy and Sustainability. This program works directly with the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Installations, Energy & Environment) (ASA IE&E) to implement policy to meet the Federal and Department of Defense sustainable design and development requirements which include, the Federal Guiding Principles identified in Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-02: High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
