SI Explorer Tools Menu - Submit A UFGS CCR

This command can also be executed from the SpecsIntact Explorer's Sections menu, Right-click menu, or the SI Editor's Help menu.

The Submit a UFGS CCR command opens the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG) Website's Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) page in your default browser. Submit a Criteria Change Request (CCR) for UFGS-related issues that are not a direct result of the software, use this form to submit comments, suggestions and recommended changes to the assigned technical proponent to review.  If necessary, the technical proponent will contact you directly.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Tools menu, then select Submit a UFGS CCR
  2. On the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) page, sort the table by selecting the drop-down arrow below Divisions, then select a Division (01 - 49) and click Apply
  3. In the list, locate the Section and click the Illustration WBDG UFGS CCR Link link
  4. On the UFGS Criteria Change Request (CCR) page, complete the form and answer the Security Question
  5. Click Submit
