This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's SI Document Templates menu.

Allows the user to copy the selected SI Document TemplatesBlank document (formerly known as Format Template) which may be used to create a cover sheet, sign-off sheet, project information sheet or other unique documents to be used with specifications to either have a copy or use as a guideline for creating a custom template by assigning a new name and Working DirectoriesA designated location on your systems hard drive or network drive where the Jobs, Masters, and Templates are stored.

Template Name

The template name identifies the template in the SpecsIntact Explorer and Windows File ExplorerThe Windows Explorer is Microsoft Windows file manager application that is included in the operating system. Working Directory

The default Working Directory path will automatically display in this text box.  Other Working Directories will be displayed in the drop-down box, if they are selected in the Working Directories window.

To Copy an SI Document Template:

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Tools menu

  2. From the SI Document Templates window, highlight the Template you wish to copy and select the Copy button

  3. From the Copy SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction window, enter a name in the Template Name field

  4. Either leave the current Working Directory or select the drop-down arrow to select a new one

  5. Select OK
