SI Explorer Sections Menu - Remove Change/Highlight Tags

This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Sections menu and Right-click menu.

Allows you to globally remove all Change CHG tagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. If you want to remove the Change tags from the Sections within a Job or Master, use the File menu > Remove Change/Highlight Tags command.

How to Remove Change or Highlight Tags from a Job or Master

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Job or Master you want to remove the tags from

  2. In the right-pane, select one or more Sections

  3. Select the Sections menu and choose Remove Change/Highlight Tags, or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu on a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction(s) and choose Remove Change/Highlight Tags

  4. When the confirmation window opens, below Tags to Remove select either the Change [CHG] or Hightlight [HLS] option

  5. Select OK.

Illustration Icon Indicating Helpful HintIf you do not want to remove the Change or Highlight tags in all Sections, you can deselect by clicking a Section, thereby leaving the Section in the Job or Master unchanged.
