This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's File menu and Right-click menu.

Allows you to globally remove all Change (CHG) tagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents or Highlight (HLS) Tags, but not their content, from the entire select Job or Master.

If you want to remove the Change tags from only selected Sections in a Job or Master, use the Sections menu > Remove Change/Highlight Tags command.

How to Remove Change or Highlight Tags from a Job or Master

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Job or Master you want to remove the tags from

  2. Select the File menu and choose Remove Change/Highlight Tags, or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu on a Job or Master and choose Remove Change/Highlight Tags

  3. When the confirmation window opens, below Tags to Remove select either the Change (CHG) or Highlight (HLS) option

  4. Select OK.

In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents in all Sections, you can deselect by clicking a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction, thereby leaving the Section in the Job or Master unchanged.
