Settings to Reset

Personal Change Request data

Removes the user-specific information that has been preserved in the top portion of the Software Change Request Form that is generated through Tools > Software Change Request > Create/Edit Form.

Available Masters

Resets the available Masters by returning to the Connected Masters Required window that appears during the initial installation, so you can choose to either have SpecsIntact download and restore the latest UFGS Master, restore a Master that's on your system, or connect to a Master that is already available on your system.

Working Directories

This option is intended to reset the Working Directories to the default value.  When selected, you will be given three choices:

  1. Have SpecsIntact create a default Working Directory -- (C:\Users\UserID\Documents\SpecsIntactWD)
  2. Connect Working Directories Manually -- Automatically opens Setup > Working Directories
  3. Exit SpecsIntact

Specifier Names

Removes any names entered through Setup > Options > Specifiers tab.

Icon Colors

Returns the icon colors to the system default settings.

File Locations

Returns the file locations to the system default settings.

Window Sizes

Restores all resized windows and positions to their default settings. Changing configurations where the display setup differs can sometimes lead to applications opening on phantom monitors. Resetting the window sizes is a simple fix for this common problem.

Other Settings

Resets other user-specific settings back to the default settings.  These settings do not fit within the categories shown above, such as the Add Sections, Columns, Mail, Backup, etc.

Initialization (iNI) files

Performs a clean initialization by removing and resetting the software's configuration files to their default state. This can resolve unexpected software behaviors by restoring the startup settings.
