This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Sections menu. and Right-click menu.

Allows you to select files from the right-pane of the SI Explorer and attach them to an e-mail.  This function works with your systems default desktop e-mail client such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.  By default, the e-mail is addressed to SpecsIntact@usace.army.mil, to request assistance, but this address can be replaced with other recipients.

How to E-mail a Section(s)

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the Job or Master

  2. In the right-pane, select one or more Sections

  3. Select the Sections menu and choose E-mail or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu on the highlighted SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction(s) and choose E-mail

  4. When the new e-mail window opens, the Sections will be attached automatically.  You can then Modify the Recipients and Subject line if necessary

  5. When the message is ready to be sent, select the Send button
