This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's File menu and Right-click menu.
This command allows you to look for Jobs or Masters within the connected Working Directories that reside on the local or network drive based on keywords in their names, titles, or other project information (e.g., contract number, location, lead specifier, or source). The results are placed in a temporary 'Result Files' subfolder below the list of applicable Jobs or Masters. To open a project, Double-click the desired file in the Result Files folder.
The projects in this subfolder are your working projects and should not be deleted from here.
The title of the Find Jobs window illustrated below will change to Find Masters depending on if the focus of the search is Masters instead of Jobs.
Provides the option to find a search term in Jobs or Masters.
The Find Jobs or Masters option lets you search for keywords for projects within the connected Working Directories. This includes the local or network drives, but searching projects on network drives may take longer.
Checking this box allows keyword searches in the names of the Jobs or Masters folders located in the connected Working Directories.
Checking this box allows keyword searches in the titles of the Jobs or Masters located in the connected Working Directories.
This option expands your search to include additional project information beyond names and titles. Keywords can be found in the contract number, location, lead specifier, and source fields, accessible through the File > Properties > General tab.
This option controls how the search treats capitalization. When checked, it finds results with any capitalization (UPPERCASE, lowercase, or mixed), even if you search with a specific case (e.g., "tile" would find "TILE", "Tile", and "tile").
Checking this box finds the exact search term. For a broader search where variations might be relevant, leave it unchecked. For instance, if you entered "excava" in the 'Find' area, your results would contain "excavate", "excavation", and "excavating".
The OK button will execute and save selections made and make them part of your Job's properties.
The Cancel button will close the window without recording any selections or changes entered.
The Help button will open the Help Topic for this window.
