This command provides the capability to change the Background Color in a given Column, Row, Cell, or Table.

Using this Feature

This selection is only available when two or more cells are selected.

  1. Mouse over the Selected Cells
  2. Right-click and select Set Background Color for, then choose Selected Cells

  1. When the Color window opens, choose a Basic Color

  2. Select OK

To change the Background Color using Custom Colors it is important to know how to use the feature. First follow the instructions for Set Background Color For Cell, Row, Column, or Table:

  1. When the Color window opens, choose one of the blank squares under Custom Colors

  2. From the Custom Color Selector, click the desired Color

  3. On the Slider Bar, click on the triangle to adjust the color by sliding up or down

  4. Click the Add to Custom Colors button

  5. Select OK
