This command can also be executed from the SI Editor's Right-click menu or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M.

The Remove Tags command removes the beginning tag found to the left (in front) of the cursor position and its corresponding ending tag, leaving the text between the tagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the SI Editor, place your cursor between the tags you want to remove
  2. Right-click and select Remove Tags
  3. When the confirmation window appears, verify you are removing the correct set of tags, click OK
