This command can be executed from the Editor's Right-click, menu or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M.

Removes the beginning tag found to the left (in front) of the cursor position and its corresponding ending tag, leaving the text between the tagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the Editor, place the cursor between the tags you want to remove
  2. Right-click and select Remove Tags, when the confirmation box appears, verify you are removing the correct set of tags
  3. Select OK
