SpecsIntact's new web site was introduced with a new design and added features like Site Search and Site Map. Feedback or suggestions regarding the new site can be submitted on the web survey form.
On-site beta testing of the new SpecsIntact 3 was held at the Kennedy Space Center. The new software was previewed and tested by representatives of NASA, Army, Navy, and private firms in preparation for a public release this year.

The SpecsIntact Interagency Configuration Control and Coordinating Board, made up of representatives from NASA, NAVFAC and USACE, met in Washington, DC. The NASA SpecsIntact Interagency Configuration Control and Coordinating Board, made up of representatives from NASA centers, met at the Kennedy Space Center, FL. The board meets regularly to consider changes to the NASA Construction Guide Specifications (Master Text).

The area code change for the Kennedy Space Center (home of SpecsIntact) became mandatory . The old area code (407) was replaced by the new 321 area code .

After five months of testing in real-world work environments, SpecsIntact 3 (beta version) was released on the SpecsIntact Website for wide-scale public beta testing.
