The Windows Installer MSI (SpecsIntact.msi) installation is primarily intended for IT Administrators to automate software deployments by performing silent installations or pre-configure settings for multiple systems on your network, eliminating the need for manual installations on each system. This silent installation is a convenient way to streamline the installation process of a desktop application on several systems at once.

A third-party Software Deployment Tool such as Microsoft’s “Windows Installer Service," will define the parameters that instruct the installer how to run (e.g., where to install the program, if a shortcut is placed on the desktop, etc.).  IT Administrators must have the expertise that is required to use these tools to integrate with the SpecsIntact MSI Installation package.

Mixing the MSI and Traditional Local installations on the same machine is not recommended. Should you wish to transition between installation types, remove the current version entirely before installing the alternative.

Retaining two SpecsIntact versions side-by-side: Multiple versions of SpecsIntact may coexist on your system as long as each is installed using its default folder.
