The SpecsIntact local installation (SI.exe) is a guided user-specific setup that installs the software directly onto the local system. The installation allows for upgrades to the same or newer versions and supports side-by-side setups alongside existing installations. This installation requires approximately 50 MB of hard drive space. The default location for the SpecsIntact system is C:\Program Files (x86)\SpecsIntact 5.
The Working Directories are an essential component of SpecsIntact as they hold the user-created Jobs and Masters. These Working Directories can reside on the local hard drive or a network server. SpecsIntact enables the creation of multiple Working Directories, allowing projects to be stored in separate locations. Additional space is required for Working Directories and will vary depending on the number of projects within.
