This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Right-click menu
Open In Web Browser
This feature is the default setting and provides the option to open the Exported Web files (.htm) with the default Web Browser. Double-clicking on an HTML file will open the file with Microsoft Excel.
Open in Microsoft Excel
This feature provides the option to open the Exported Web files (.htm) with Microsoft Excel. Double-clicking on an HTML file will open with the default Web Browser.
Both functions are controlled by the Use Excel to open HTML files in Exported Files Folder option found in Setup > Options > General tab. When selected, the right-click menu will display Open In Web Browser and the double-click action will open the file in Microsoft Excel. When deselected, the right-click menu will display Open In Microsoft Excel and the double-click action will open the file with the default Web Browser.
