This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Toolbar command, Right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A.

When adding Sections to a Job, the Master tab opens to the default Master, and the selectable Divisions are visible. From the tree view, you can select the Master, Division(s), or Section(s) by placing a checkmark in the desired checkbox.
Selecting the Master checkbox automatically selects all associated Divisions and Sections. Similarly, checking a Division box will select all corresponding Sections.
When you place a checkmark at the Master level, every Division and Section within the Master will be selected. When you place a checkmark at a Division level, every Section within the Division will be selected
To expand a Division, click on the tree view Expand
or Collapse
commands. When adding a lot of Sections within a Division, consider selecting the Division, and then unchecking the unwanted Sections.
The Section can be viewed before adding it to the Job by selecting the Section so it is highlighted (whether it is checked or unchecked) and then selecting the View Section button.
Will Add the selected Division(s) or Section(s) from the source (top pane) and display them below in the Contents pane, with the pending action Add Section or Overwrite Section listed below the Action column. When selecting a Section already in the Job or Master, you will be asked if you want to Overwrite it.
This command will open Setup > Connect Masters, to select, deselect, or add additional Masters.
This command will open Setup > Working Directories. to select, deselect, or add additional Working Directories.
All Sections you selected to add will be listed in the Contents section, with the pending action Add or Overwrite Section listed beside it.
Right-clicking on a Section with an action pending will provide the option to Undo the action and remove the Section from the Contents pane.
If you choose a Section already in the Job, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. Be careful, if you overwrite a Section that has already been edited, you will lose any unsaved changes!
The displayed Source indicates where the Sections will be copied from during the Add Sections process. The source can be from the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Master, a Local Master, a Job, or an unknown (a location on your system or added directly through e-mail).
The Browse function allows you to search your computer system or network drives for Section (.sec) files that you want to add to your Job or Master.
If you choose a Section already in the job, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it.
All Sections you choose will be listed in the Contents section (bottom pane) of the window, with the pending action Add or Overwrite Section listed beside it.
SpecsIntact provides multiple methods for adding Sections to a Job or Master. In addition to SI Explorer's File menu > Add Sections, you can also use the drag-and-drop feature, or the keyboard shortcuts, copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V).
The OK button will execute and save the selections made on all of the tabs.
The Cancel button will close the window without recording any selections or changes entered.
The Help button will open the Help Topic for this window.
In the SpecsIntact Explorer, right-click on a Job or Master
On the Masters tab, below Masters (top pane), locate the Master you want to copy Sections from -- you may need Expand the tree view to see the Divisions
Then place a checkmark next to one or more Divisions to add the entire Division or Expand the tree view to check Individual Sections
Click the Add button
Select OK
To save time when adding a large number of Sections from a Division, place a checkmark next to the Division, then uncheck the Sections you do not want to add.
