This command can also be executed from the SI Editor's keyboard shortcut F4.

The Insert Tag command opens a window and provides a list of available tags from which you can select a tag to insert at the cursor position.

The most commonly used tags may also be inserted using the Tagsbar buttons. The Tagsbar provides pre-defined common tags, simplifying the tagging of frequently used elements within the specification.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the SI Editor, place your cursor in the desired location and press F4
  2. In the Insert Tag window, perform one of the following:
    1. Type the first letter of the tag and repeat the letter for subsequent tags beginning with the same letter
    2. Select the drop-down arrow and select the available tag from the list
    3. When a tag is selected, its description appears next to the tag name, click OK

  1. On the Tagsbar, select the Toolbar Options button
  2. Select Add or Remove Buttons
  3. Check or Uncheck the desired tags
