The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) along with the SpecsIntact Team are pleased to announce the release of SpecsIntact v5.6. This version of SpecsIntact features new SI Editor themes, with Twilight, Deep Blue, Midnight (high contrast), and Custom themes available from the SI Editor's View menu, along with the original Classic theme with black text on a white background. You can also now export Tailoring Options to Excel spreadsheet format, export Submittal Registers to Excel format more quickly, and publish to Word format while Microsoft Word is running. The SI Explorer reliably displays windows that previously used a now-disconnected monitor, the SI Editor's Bracket Replacement tool retains its position on any display monitor, and the SI Editor reliably saves network files after the network disconnects and then reconnects. The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) announced the release of the third quarter Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Master and the Unified Master Reference List (UMRL). The SpecsIntact Team will also update the date for the UFGS Master, Unified Master Reference List (UMRL), and Unified Master Submittal List (UMSL) so the software will inform our customers to download the latest versions.
