Air National Guard Handbook (ANGH) 32-1084, Facility Space Standards, provides specific guidance for the Air National Guard (ANG), building upon and tailoring the broader Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 32-1024, Facility Requirement Standards, and its associated Air Force Guidance Memorandums (AFGMs). The Handbook provides guidance for determining functional space for ANG facilities and serves as a tool to program new facilities, modify existing spaces and manage real property inventory. The Functional Standards are organized by Category Code (CATCODE) and define specific functional, staffing, and space guidance. These Functional Standards define a basis for optimizing space in existing facilities, programming new facilities, and provide guidance for personnel engaged in planning, programming, designing, certifying, and approving ANG facilities. This Handbook does not authorize use of appropriated funds, non-appropriated funds, or private funds for construction or conversion of ANG facilities. Reference to a specific manufacturer, commercial product, or service in this Handbook does not imply endorsement by the Air National Guard or the United States Air Force.
