AFI 32-1054 Corrosion Control  


This instruction implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 32-10, Installations and Facilities, and Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5000.67, Prevention and Mitigation of Corrosion on DoD Military Equipment and Infrastructure. It defines responsibilities and general requirements for the corrosion control program at major commands (MAJCOM) and installations, and applies to personnel involved in design, construction, acquisition, operations, and maintenance of real property assets and installed equipment at installations and facilities. It references Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines and follows selected industry standards published by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) InternationalĀ®.
